Today's Treasure: "'You are my witnesses,' declares the Lord, 'and my servant whom I have chosen, so that you may know and believe me and understand that I am he.'"-Isaiah 43:10
According to Beth, captivity is described as "...anything that hinders the abundant and effective Spirit-filled life God planned for her." When using this definition, I think the idea of being held captive, or of not being free can be seen from a different perspective. To me, it means that it doesn't always have to be something 'spiritual', but can also be the every day things that we might not even be aware of as hindering the life God wants for us.
Question 1: According to Isaiah 43: 10-13, describe the margin describe the One you have been chosen to know, believe and understand to be God.
Question 2: If you characterized your relationship with Christ as 'close and personal', what characteristics of your relationship reflect a degree of familiarity? If not, what causes you to feel distant?
In response to question 1, I wrote that God is the Living God, the Only God, and that He is a Jealous God.
