Today's Treasure:When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze. For I am the Lord, your God, the Holy One of Israel, your saviour."- Isaiah 43:2-3
Many times, we as believers will express that we cannot feel His presence. We feel that when we pray, He doesn't hear us, or when we cry out to Him, He is unresponsive. However, if we have accepted Christ into our lives, and have come into an intimate relationship with Him, we know that His Holy Spirit dwells with us, and, therefore, is always with us. As Beth Moore states, it's an issue of Faith. Even if we don't "feel" Him, He is still there. Always.
Question 1: Read Psalm 139:7-12 and the promise in Hebrews 13:5. We obviously and fortunately cannot escape God's presence, but why do you think we experience times when we sense God's presence more clearly than others?
Question 2: In Psalm 16:11, what did David confidently expect from God?
